Hi, the mod here.
I just wanted to let you know that I have just started a political clique called Liberal Pride. It's not done - I would like to add many, many more buttons and extras - but the basic content and layout is set up.
I hope some of you will be interested in joining. Even if you are not, I am seeking donations of political LJ icons and 100x35 and 50x50 buttons for the site. I've been packing to go on a last-of-the-season camping trip all day, but took a break to read the news and was delighted to hear that the protests around the RNC are huge and citywide. I thought it was rather stupid of them to choose such a thoroughly Democratic city, although obviously they did it to exploit 9/11. I hope the people of NY make them regret even thinking of the idea!
Made a quick icon from a slogan I heard was popular among the protesters there.

I'm a confirmed member of the ABBA club but not really a great fan of Kerry. However, I am getting really sick of hearing about how "indecisive" he is.
